Good padding, needs a Velcro strap

Bought these to replace my old Venum knee pads. The padding is thick and protects well against shins and elbows. The knee pad tends to move around during sparring and drilling and could benefit from a Velcro strap on the top to keep it from sliding down.

Excellent all around

We started including knees while sparring (lightly) & the padding/fit of these feels like you simply have soft cushiony knees.

They protect your partner (when they get hit) & they protect you (during knee clashes w/checks) really well. They also really make a difference if you do any grappling from the kneeling position or any rolling (especially if you have knee issues like me).

I ordered these unsure of sizing & was allowed to try both sizes & keep whichever pair fit better & that’s amazing customer service.

I’m 5’9 about 165 (should be 155 😄) & the diameter around my calves is about 15”, my knee (from center of kneecap) is about 14.5” & thigh (a few inches above kneecap) is 17-18. The L/XL fits great! The S/M felt a bit restrictive in terms of range of motion.

I compared these with the ones from Wyrmsports & these are hands down better.

I think $25 would be a better price point but am still happy to pay $30 if/when I need new ones.

My knees are safe

I had problems with colliding knees with my opponents and it would make me lag on counters. Now I can focus on form and counters without worrying about my knees getting injured
